forward with their learning P16 team will contact home if we are concerned about Coursework BTEC subjects and practical based subjects - management of critical deadlines changes to BTEC assessment Responding to feedback from teachers to aid improvement Catch up sessions Countdown

12 Teaching weeks left before the start of written exams: Monday May 16th This excludes 2 weeks for Easter Holidays and half term week: Feb 8th to Feb 12th. Thursday 24th March Friday 8th April Quick Wins Study timetable: AN HOUR FOR AN HOUR Quiet and clutter free study area at home

Use study periods effectively. Get to school on time! Open communication between student and teacher Attend every lesson and submit every piece of work required from teachers Start thinking about future something to work towards Part time jobs 9 hours or less Voice of Hindsight Use any online resources youre told about; great for

basic knowledge and wider reading. Take time to go through your answers, and talk to your teachers to make sure you understand. Go through past papers and mark schemes and examiners

reports. Make sure you do all of the homework you are set and get it in on time!! Plan your revision! Colour code your plan! Follow the feedback you

are given; teachers are experts at how to do well in the exams. Make lists of key terms. Learn to use them, not just recite them. Time yourself closely when practising,

and during the real thing. Revision Plan Students should have some revision plans/timetable as soon as they can. Academic mentors and tutors can help with completing these. Students should be making use of the learning resource centre in both learning communities during their school based study periods.
